Dicom Calculator is to quickly evaluate mathematical expressions. You can enter and edit expression using computer keyboard or Dicom Calculator Keyboard. Result of the expression can be copied and used elsewhere. The result is also stored in memory for further manipulation if necessary.
If Calculator is not already open, from the menu select View / Calculator to open it. Depending on the startup mode, Calculator size, position and docking condition may vary.

Write your expression in the Expression Area. Expression Area is the topmost editable zone on the calculator. You may use computer keyboard or click on mouse buttons on the Calculator Keyboard to key-in.
To add 1 and 2 you need to write: 1+2 in the expression area. You can also write dimensional expression in calculator. For example, 3 ft. + 2 m. to m. will evaluate to 2.9144 m.
The "+" symbol is an operator, used to add two numbers or units. Following are some Dicom operators to perform common calculation.
